Su TownsendSu is a management consultant and an experienced leadership and career development coach, with a background in research and program design. Guided by her intense interest in helping clients identify and work with limitations to their career growth and personal development, Su is recognized as a "straight talker" with a clarity of understanding that helps those she works with develop and integrate change strategies that lead to measurable success. Her practice includes conflict resolution and intervention projects, focused upon the development of constructive solutions for both the individual and the company. Utilizing appropriate assessment tools, Su has achieved significant success in guiding even the most resistant members of corporate teams toward participation and more effective contribution, creating a change dynamic in which the potential of the team can be maximized. A member of an international coaching bench, she also provides executive coaching services to leaders in global organizations. Prior to joining Centrepoint, Su was the Vice President, Operations of a corporate training company, where she created custom programs focused on leadership effectiveness, team development and enhanced sales, and customer service performance, designed to align with corporate goals. Her breadth of experience gives her a deep resource to tap into when working with individuals and teams. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree from Rhodes University and has certifications in assessment tools focused upon leadership, team, and individual development. She is in the midst of completing courses toward the achievement of the Conflict Resolution: Mediation/Third Party Intervention Certificate offered by the Justice Institute of BC. Su's role at Centrepoint includes business development, recruiting, and the creation of effective solutions designed to provide enhanced talent management success for clients. |
