Our Team

Doris Bentley

Doris is the founder and Managing Director of Centrepoint. Driven by a passion to offer business leaders cost-effective and targeted solutions to managing every aspect of their people strategy, she is committed to providing timely and relevant insight, practical tools, and fully customized support to organizations as they select, develop, and engage new and emerging talent. It was on this foundation that she founded Centrepoint 14 years ago.

Her diversified roles as a business owner, organizational development and management consultant, career coach, and facilitator of high-impact learning events, have given her the opportunity to work extensively with emerging and experienced business leaders at all levels across a range of industries.

Through her extensive leadership and career coaching practice, she has assisted hundreds of individuals in addressing their performance, development, or career challenges and opportunities. Whether working with emerging, high potential talent or tenured leaders, she is committed to helping them find fresh perspectives and strategies to successfully navigate their challenges with wisdom and integrity.

A particular specialty in her business has been working with clients to clarity roles and responsibilities in a way that paves the way for high performance and the successful integration of new talent. Given the importance of talent acquisition to successful business growth, she has developed subject-matter expertise on the hiring and selection process, and has authored The Competency Connection®: Strategic Hiring for a Changing Workplace, a process and blue-print for hiring the right people the first time, every time.

Prior to founding Centrepoint, Doris was the Vice President, Training and Consulting for Drake Beam Morin, an international career consulting firm, and held previous roles in HR management in professional services firms. She is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and holds undergraduate degrees in arts and adult education, and has completed graduate studies in organizational development. She is also certified in the use of a number of psychometric instruments.
